Advertising on our site is currently non-existent. However, we intend to do the following types of ads:
- We may vary the size or color of text to increase the noticeability of an attraction, Destination, or Journey. Just because the size varies does not, however, mean that we are being paid to do so.
- We may display internal links to related attractions, Destinations, or Journeys on our homepage as “Featured Destinations”, etc.
- We may include events on an attraction or Destination page that would otherwise not be included.
- We may create or personally experience a Journey or Destination based on compensation. This will not, however, affect our average reviews, which are not based on our opinion anyway. Most Destinations and Journeys are created based on the reputation or personal appeal of the city or trip in question. The compensated listings would be disclosed as “Featured” listings on a permanent basis.
Banner ads:
We do not have banner ads at this time. We will consider some eventually based on financial need, but we hope to function without them.
